UBIDAYS ’08: EndWar could change gaming

Far from simply being a new RTS franchise is Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy stable, it seems clear that the publisher has some pretty sensational plans for its upcoming EndWar on Xbox 360 and PS3.

EndWay will be set in a persistent online world, and moreso, it seems that the publisher hopes that troops directed in EndWar will be controllable by gamers playing titles such as Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six or the upcoming flight sim Hawx.

"This is the first game of its type and I don’t think that games on console will be made the same after Endwar," Ubisoft’s content director, Julian Geright told CVG. "It’s kind of boastful, but I really do think that this is a watershed type of game."
