Left 4 Dead writer Chet Faliszek says the studio will support Sony's device at some stage in the future

Valve positioning for PS3 development

Acclaimed developer Valve may be on the verge of ending its self-imposed absence from PS3 development by assuring fans that it will end up supporting Sony’s increasingly popular console at some stage in the future.
However, it seems that any such move may still be some way off.

“Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way,” Left 4 Dead writer Chet Faliszek told Edge. “But we’ll look at it, and I’m sure down the road we’ll do it.”
