What’s Out Today? w/e September 9th

Sony’s Resistance 3 leads the charge as strong force of new releases arrives on shelves from Nintendo, THQ, Deep Silver and more.

The PS3 sci-fi FPS continues the series’ story of a 1950s alien invasion. The Chimera have established a firmer grip over the United States and its up to players and their fellow resistance fighters to retake our home planet.

Meanwhile, 3DS owners can pick up another revamped Nintendo 64 classic in the form of Star Fox 64 3D. The arcade space shooter features upgraded visuals and brand new multiplayer modes.

Those in need of a zombie fix can pick up Deep Silver’s Dead Island, while Warhammer fans will enjoy the action-packed Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. Also out is El Shaddai (UTV Ignition) and the Monkey Island Special Edition Collection (Activision).
