COO Downie quits Zynga for Unity

Zynga’s second-in-command Clive Downie has resigned from the social gaming company and taken on a new role at Unity Technologies.

The chief operating officer joined Zynga over a year ago from DeNA West, but now takes up the position of chief marketing officer at Unity, according toGamesBeat.

His departure comes just two weeks afterCEO Don Mattrick left the firm, replaced by the firm’s founder Mark Pincus.
