Csharks kicks off game development competition for students

Kochi-based game company Csharks has kicked off Game Srishti, a two-month game development competition for students, with iPads, game consoles, and a possible game publishing deal to be won.

The competiton began on 1st April, and entrants have until 30th May to complete their games and submit their entries. The entries will be evaluated by a team of experts, and Csharks has even offered to provide guidance to participants, should they require it.

Students can register for the competition via Csharks’ website, and entries can either be sent on CD/DVD directly to the company’s office or by sharing a Dropbox link via email. All entries should also include a ReadMe text file with game details, such as requirements, platforms and tools, as well as story details, images, and a copy of the student ID card.

Winners stand to win iPads, Xbox 360s, and PSPs, and possibly have their game published by Csharks.

Csharks develops games across mobile, web and social platforms. The company recently released Escapade on the iOS Ap Store.
