Dead Space release moved forward

EA has confirmed that its exciting new sci-fi survival horror IP Dead Space has had its UK release moved forward one week – and will now hit retail on Ocotber 24th.

That’s the case for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, anyhow. The PC incarnation will still be released on Halloween, as has been previously touted.

The reason is said to be simply that the console code has been polished off early.

Dead Space is one of a number of exciting new IPs that EA is preparing to bring to market – others include interesting first person free-run-a-thon Mirror’s Edge, boxing title Facebreaker, DS outing Zubo, Pandemic’s Sabotague and next week’s highly anticipated Will Wright title, Spore.
