Dean Hall opens new studio RocketWerkz

DayZ creator Dean Hall has opened his own development house in Duedin, New Zealand – and the new studio is hiring.

Hall announced back in February of this year that he intended to move on from Bohemia Interactive and DayZ’s development entirely.

Hall’s stated mission at the time was to establish a Valve in the South Pacific,” and it appears RocketWerkz will be his vessel.

"Looking for programmers, artists, etc… for my new studio [RocketWerkz]. These roles initially based Dunedin, NZ,” Hall posted on his Twitter account.

Eurogamer adds that the studio actually started hiring back in June, though at that point it had no official name and was located in New Zealand’s Queenstown.
