Devil May Cry hits App Store

Capcom’s popular Devil May Cry series has made its debut on the App Store.

Devil May Cry 4: Refrain is available to download now, and is compatible with all of Apple’s mobile devices: iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Unlike the upcoming reboot DmC – currently in development at Ninja Theory – Refrain holds true to the classic Devil May Cry formula. Players control DMC4 protagonist Nero as take on hordes of demoms and epic boss fights with his Devil Bringer arm.

Controls have been simplified to suit the game’s touch screen nature, but Capcom assures fans that the series’ signature combos and red orb upgrading system are still in place. Refrain also offers Game Center functionality, including achievements.
