Killzone 3 multiplayer demo goes live

Killzone 3’s multiplayer beta is now available to all PS3 owners with an internet connection.

The multiplayer demo has been made available from 11am this morning and runs until February 15th. It was previously exclusive to subscribers of Sony’s paid-for PSN Plus service.

Gamers have access to four modes – ‘Guerrilla Warfare’, which supports 16 players in team deathmatches, ‘Warzone’, a multiplayer campaign for up to 24 players and ‘Operations’ which has mini-missions for 16 players.

There is also ‘Botzone’ which allows offline players to practise shooting computer-controlled enemies on the Frozen Dam map, reports Eurogamer.

Last week the PlayStation Home online hub was transformed into a Killzone-based environment.

Killzone 3 is released on February 25th for PS3.
