Direct2Drive relaunches UK site

Digital video games retailer Direct2Drive has announced a relaunch of its UK and EU web portals.

Both sites now boast a new visual design, an intelligent search and navigation system, improved integration with IGN and a host of new community features. There are also a number of price promotions on a selection of Ubisoft titles.

The re-launch of Direct2Drive UK and EU is an evolution in the way in which we approach digital distribution with a focus on ease of access to games and community,” MD Rich Keen stated.

The introduction of enhanced community tools within the site such as user ratings and user reviews, to Facebook-focused integrations will ensure that D2D develops into much more than a digital retail platform.

Along with attracting new consumers to our service, our aim is to bring D2D closer to the IGN family, sharing content across platforms to close the gap between the millions of users on our media sites and the games they want to buy.”
