DS Lite trade price safe for now

Following the news that

Nintendo is to up the trade price retailers pay for the Wii

– leading to fears that the machine’s price on the High Street could increase – Nintendo has told MCV that it has no immediate plans to up the trade price of the DS Lite.

The present exchange rate was taken into consideration when we announced the trade price of DSi to retailers across Europe,” a spokesperson told MCV.

At this time, we do not expect to have to change the trade price we charge to retailers for the DSi or DS price in the UK in the foreseeable future.”
