E3 08: No other handheld can match PSP, says Tretton

Jack Tretton has told the global media that no other handheld can match the PSP at Sony’s E3 ’08 Media Briefing.

Having termed 2008 the ‘year of the PS3′ before unveiling several new PSN features, the SCEA boss moved on to talk about PSP, and revealed new title Resistance Retribution alongside a new ‘entertainment pack’ that includes Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and a copy of movie National Treasure to go on sale in the US for $199 later this year.

He also took a little time out to have a dig at handheld rival Nintendo, stating: From a portable gaming perspective, there is no equal. PSP is an offering that no other handheld can match.”
