EA lists free games offered to SimCity players

The issues plaguing SimCity players has been well documented and in the face of growing anger from customers, EA had announced that it would offer them one free game for their troubles.

The publisher today revealed the SimCity buyers are entitled to one off the following list of games:

  • Battlefield 3
  • Dead Space 3
  • Mass Effect 3
  • Medal of Honor: Warfighter
  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted
  • Bejeweled 3
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition

We like the irony in that last option.

The games will be available in waves, starting with America, followed by Europe. While India has its own Origin store, we believe content and release dates on it adhere to the US store. Either way, keep your eyes peeled to Origin over the coming days to redeem your free game. There are more details here.

In India, you’d be able to avail of one of these free games if you happened to buy SimCity at retail or if you managed to grab it off Origin before it was taken off the Indian store.
