EA Origin UK boss Roger Walkden joins Microsoft

EA Origin’s UK chief Roger Walkden has joined Microsoft Studios.

The former EA and Activision man takes the role of Chief of Staff, and will work behind the scenes across all of Microsoft’s European studios, which includes Rare, Lionhead, Soho Productions, Press Play and the new studio, Lift London.

"My job is going to support this development teams from the back end," he said.

"I will make sure these teams maintain their individuality and give them the independence they need to get the job done. It’s a great opportunity for me and there’s a great job to be done."
