EA pushes Rory McIlroy PGA Tour release back one month

EA’s upcoming golf title Rory McIlroy PGA Tour won’t be coming out in its previously announced June release window.

Instead the sports game will be coming out on July 14th.This is the same week as the Open Championship 2015 in St Andrews.

It’s yet to be revealed if this is a worldwide release, or just the US, so PGA Tour could well be launching in the UK on July 17th.

The publisher has also detailed some of the features of this PGA Tour game. Consumers can choose from three modes – Arcade, Classic and Tour.

Earlier this year, EA revealed that the famous August National course – host of The Masters – would not be present in the game at launch, but might appear as DLC post-launch.

Rory McIlroy PGA Tourwill be coming out on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
