Eight million people have played Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

EA has revealed that eight million gamers have played Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.

In an infographic (below), the firm has revealed some stats about the shooter spin-off of the Plants vs Zombies franchise.

1.4 billion games have been played online – which the publisher claims clocks in at 1,600 matches per minute, while seven billion zombies have been killed.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare launched in 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Its sequel, Garden Warfare 2, will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 25th 2016.
