Engine Room Games acquired by Unity

Unity has announced it has acquired one of its partner studios, which was previously contracted to handle the engine’s development for PlayStation platforms.

UK developer Engine Room Games will now become an official Unity studio, continuing its work on Unity support for PlayStation VR, according to the tech firm’sofficial blog.

Engine Room will also contribute to other areas of Unity development including particles and general optimisation”.
