Far Cry 3 moved back to late 2012

Ubisoft has announced adjusted release dates for Far Cry 3.

Originally set for September, the publisher has revealed the title now won’t be available until the holiday season.

The game will arrive in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on November 29th, while North America will get a December 4th launch.

The delay was explained by Ubisoft producer Dan Hay, who believes the extra time will result in a top quality experience for players.

"We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience," said Hay. "Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players."
