FIFA 14 World Cup expansion delayed

EA’s free FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup DLC will not be released today as planned.

The PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and 360 content had been due to arrive today alongside the World Cup Kick-Off mode on PS4 and Xbox One.

Knowing that our players have been so excited for these new modes made it a tough decision,” the company said. However, as we progressed through final testing we encountered unforeseen issues that would affect all users who downloaded the update, so it’s important to address them first before release.

Our team is currently working hard to have the update ready to release in the coming days.”

EA’s dedicated 2014 Brazil World Cup was only released on PS3 and Xbox 360, meaning this DLC will be the only World Cup-specific content available on next-gen consoles and PC.
