Game of Thrones launch trailer arrives ahead of release

Telltale’s Game of Thrones episodic adventure game is set to roll out to its various platforms this week, and the studio has let loose the first trailer to mark its arrival.

The adaptation focuses on the family members and those in service to House Forrester, and takes place between the end of season three and the beginning of season five of HBO’s show.

The trailer shows the Forrester’s among major characters from the television series, including Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), and Ramsay Snow (Iwan Rheon). Other members of the show’s cast will appear in later episodes as well.

The first episode of Game of Thrones Iron from Ice” debuts December 2nd on Windows PC and Mac, alongside the PlayStation Network release for PS4 owners in North America.

The episode launches on Xbox One and Xbox 360 December 3rd, which will be the same release date as the PS4 PSN release in Europe. Finally, the PS3 PSN version of the game will launch in both North America and Europe on December 9th.

The iOS edition is also set to launch on Thursday, December 4th, with an Android launch planned for later this month.
