GamesAid names charity winners

UK video games charity GamesAid has named the six charities nominated for official support by the organisation’s membership.

The lucky winners are Action for Kids, Jigsaw4u, Lifelites, Volunteer Centre Sutton: MAPS, SpecialEffect and The Willow Foundation.

Each will receive a donation of 29k, which represents a 74 per cent year-on-year increase.

We are delighted to be donating to these six charities, all of whom do an extremely valuable job of helping children and young people in the UK,” GamesAid chairwoman Sarah Seaby said.

It’s also gratifying to see the amount of charities that are helped and the actual amount of money increasing year on year.”
