ICGC returns to Goa for season 4 in October

Season 4 of the Indian Cyber Gaming Championship will take place in Goa from 5th to 7th October.

Organised by Re-Inforcement, part of Nodwin Gaming, next month’s ICGC finals are a culmination of various local tournaments across 14 cities, the top teams and players from which will duke it out in Goa.

A welcome change this year is a refreshed line-up of games. Gone are Counter-Strike 1.6, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Call of Duty 4, and in come Battlefield 3, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Blur.

Other games at the event include DOTA 2, League of Legends, FIFA 12 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and like last year, ICGC will also include competitions on the mobile platforms with games such as Real Racing 2.

ICGC will also be the venue for the India finals of TGX 2012 (The Games Expo) and ESWC (Electronic Sports World Cup). The winners of the League of Legends tournament will gain entry into the TGX 2012 finals in Malaysia, while the FIFA 12 and Tekken winners will head to Paris for ESWC.
