Industry Fight Club smashes targets

The Namco X Capcom Industry Fight Club Christmas special event has already passed its 5,000 target for charity GamesAid – but there’s time yet to make it an even bigger success.

The event takes place on Friday 2nd December at Namco Station, Westminster SE1 7PB. Proceedings kick off at 6pm.

16 ‘bouts’ are planned for the night, the winners of which will be entered into a Street Figther X Tekken tournament.

The first round is as follows: Imagine vs Future, SEGA vs Nintendo, 2K vs Ubisoft, Target Media vs Maverick, Premier PR vs Indigo Pearl, Capcom vs Namco, Access TV vs Inside Xbox and VG247 vs Destructoid.

There is also the scope for additional matches on the night. In addition, Tekken producer Harada-san and Street Fighter producer Ono-san will be there to meet guests.

Plus a huge selection of fighting games will be available to try, including Super Street Fighter IV (arcade edition), SoulCalibur V, Street Fighter x Tekken, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Tekken 6, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Dragonball Ultimate Tenkaichi.
Attendees confirmed so far include Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Future Publishing, Eurogamer, Intent Media, IGN, GameSpot, Imagine Publishing, Square Enix, Ubisoft, 2K Games, NCSoft, SEGA, Uncooked Media and The Gadget Show.

Entrance costs 15, with every penny going to GamesAid. Tickets can be purchased here.
