Goblinworks developing new fantasy MMO

Online studio launched by ex-CCP marketing chief

A new online studio based in Seattle has been launched by former CCP marketing chief Ryan Dancey.

Goblinworks, backed by fantasy roleplaying games publisher Paizo, is developing a new MMO called Pathfinder Online for the PC.

The creators said the new game, based on a tabletop RPG release in 2008, is to focus around the characters players create, “in a world that will grow out of your interactions developing the way you choose to develop it”.

Other founders of the new studio include Mark Kalmes, who has been appointed as chief technical officer and Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens, who will now take up the role of COO.

A release date for the company’s debut title has not been announced.
