Itagaki’s Valhalla Game Studios hit with trademark dispute

The developer of Ninja Gaiden and Devil’s Third has come to blows with a movie studio.

As spotted by Neogaf, a filing on LAIPLA shows that Valhalla Motion Pictures has taken issue with Itagaki’s Valhalla Game Studios over its logo, which undoubtedly bears more than a little resemblance to its own.

You can take a look at the two logos below.

A final hearing for the trademarks dispute is currently due to be heard on Friday (November 13th)

Valhalla Motion Pictures has a host of credits on a long string of blockbuster hits including the Terminator series, Aliens, Armageddon and The Incredible Hulk. It also produces ABC’s The Walking Dead. So far the only game to carry the Valhalla Games name is Wii U catastrophe Devil’s Third.
