Sony will bring to this year’s Develop Liverpool a cinema screen-sized argument for the future of 3D in the games industry.
The company will host a keynote lecture at the trade event, taking place at Liverpool’s Hilton Hotel on 25 November.
Mick Hocking, head of Sony Worldwide Studios’ Stereoscopic 3D division, will present the argument using full HD stereoscopic 3D at the city’s Odeon Liverpool One Cinema.
He will present Sony’s vision for the future of 3D for games, as well as highlight lessons learned by Sony during the two years it has spent working on the technology.
“I’m really excited about being able to give this keynote, as I’ll be taking the delegates through a selection of the latest stunning 3D games in full HD 3D”, said Hocking.
“I’ll also be sharing some of the unique tricks and techniques required to create a top quality 3D gaming experience.”
