Deus Ex storms UK August charts

Square Enix title Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the second best selling game in the UK in August.

And it achieved this despite only being on sale for 48 hours of UKIE Gfk Chart-Track’s August tracking period (July 31st – August 27th).

The only title able to better it was 505 Games’ Zumba Fitness, which was the No.1 UK seller for three of the four weeks included in the period.

A star performance was also posted by fellow 505 Games title Rugby World Cup 2011, which having released on the same day as Deus Ex (August 26th) managed to claim sixth in the chart.

Here’s the UK August Top Ten:

1: Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
2: Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Square Enix)
3: LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Disney)
4: Cars 2 (Disney)
5: Dirt 3 (Codemasters)
6: Rugby World Cup 2011 (505 Games)
7: FIFA 11 (EA)
8: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (Warner)
9: Just Dance 2: Extra Songs (Ubisoft)
10: Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (EA)
