Former THQ president Jason Rubin joins Oculus

Former THQ president and Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin has joined Oculus VR as head of worldwide studios.

The industry veteran announced his new gig on Twitter, adding that he will also oversee Oculus’ first-party content initiatives

"There have only been a handful of times in my life where I saw something that I knew would change everything," Rubin said.

"The awe-inspiring tech Oculus is building is a portal into an incredible world that my daughter will one day consider to be normal. The moment I put it on, I wanted to help define that future."

Rubin is also the latest in a slew of big name hires by Oculus, including several notable Valve staff members.
