31,500 trade attendees head to consumer show in Cologne

Gamescom 2014 attracts 335,000 visitors

Gamescom 2014 attracted some 335,000 visitors from 88 countries last week.

The consumer games event also saw 31,500 trade visitors attend, six per cent more than last year. There were also 700 exhibitors at the show from 47 countries, up ten per cent on 2013.

Visitor numbers were down slightly by 5,000 from last year’s event, which attracted 340,000.

Next year’s Gamescom will once again take place in Cologne between August 5th and 9th.
