IGN launches Swedish site

IGN Entertainment has partnered up with Reset Media AB to publishIGN Sweden, which launched last week.

The new site will mix Swedish language editorial material with localized material from IGN’s English language teams in the US, UK and Australia.

Its editor-in-chief is games media veteran Tobias Bjarneby and the editorial team includes Thomas Wiborgh, Johan Hallstan, Louise Stigell and Victor Sjstrm.

"IGN is a veritable goldmine for all types of gamers,” says Reset Media CEO Daniel Grigorov. It offers a depth, knowledge base and accessibility that no other videogame website in the world can match.

"It is no coincidence that IGN.com has been the market leader for more than 15 years. For Swedish gamers, as well as the local industry, the partnership between IGN Entertainment and Reset Media will result in an unprecedented source of information, adapted and curated for our thriving territory."
