Former US Army commander Bill Roedy to help Moshi Monsters studio expand business and brands

Mind Candy hires former MTV Networks CEO

The company famous for Moshi Monsters has welcomed on board Bill Roedy as its new non-executive director.

Roedy will assist Mind Candy with its global expansion and will help develop new brands as well as launching entertainment such as Moshi TV, cartoons and films.

“It’s an honour to have Bill join us here at Mind Candy," said Mind Candy CEO Michael Acton Smith. "He is a fantastic businessman with a fascinating story. We look forward to benefiting from his rich and varied experience as we expand in to many new areas of the entertainment industry.”

"Mind Candy is a very impressive operation," added Roedy. "Moshi Monsters is on the way to becoming a global ‘tour de force’. It will be an exciting ride, alongside the expert leadership of Michael and his team".

Former U.S. Army commander Roedy also previously worked as chairman and CEO at MTV Networks International, taking the brand across the globe.
