OXM hails team as web traffic trebles

Future says its Official Xbox Magazine website has increased its traffic by 220 per cent year-on-year.

According to ComScore data, the site scored 504,068 global visitors last month, making it ‘the biggest dedicated Xbox content site in the UK.’

It follows a refresh of the website last year. OXM’s editor Jon Hicks has hailed the editorial team for driving the improved results.

Hicks told MCV: It’s down to the new site design, our popular combination of Xbox-specific news and features, and some outstanding work and dedication from online editor Edwin Evans-Thirlwell supported by the rest of
the team.”

OXM’s statement of strength comes ahead of the launch of a new rival Xbox site, Outside Xbox, which is being run by former OXM writer Mike Channell.
