Plants vs Zombies theme park attraction in the works

A Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare attraction is under construction at US amusement park Carowinds.

Popcap is working on an accepted proposal to construct a 3D experience dubbed Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena for the Charlotte, North Carolina-based theme park.

The attraction will have two opposing teams of players filing into separate rooms, where attendees sit in motion-based seats and compete by shooting targets using handheld blasters.

The news is just the latest in a string of amusement park-related announcements from game studios, including Popcap’s fellow EA-studio Bioware working on a Mass Effect attraction at Great America of California and Ubisoft developing its own park in Malaysia.
