Hundreds expected for December event, with five games speakers set

Social gaming dev event heads to London

Industry association Tiga will help bring together scores of game industry professionals in a new event dedicated to the social gaming phenomenon.

An event called ‘The Rise of Social and Casual Gaming’ will take place on December 8th at London’s Excel Centre, and includes some 60 speakers, five of which will be from games companies, such as Tag Games boss Paul Farley.

Tiga says the event – hosted by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) – will offer attendees direct access to hundreds of potential partners from more than 38 countries.

“This is an important event on an important topic”, the association’s CEO, Richard Wilson, said.

“I hope that developers will learn much from this event and build valuable connections with new business partners.”

Tiga members get a 20 per cent discount on the two-day event.
