Stuart Galbraith quits Future for IGN

IGN Entertainment UK has confirmed the appointment of Stuart Galbraith as head of games, MCV can reveal.

Galbraith joins from Future where he was most recently working as associate publisher for games and entertainment. He was working on titles including Official Xbox Magazine, Xbox World and SFX.

Previous to that he was employed as brand director for Kerrang!, Mojo and Q.

At IGN he will report to head of entertainment Chris Shepperson. He is tasked with working closely with publishers and media agencies, as well as identifying new revenue opportunities from within the games industry.
