If the signs are right, the acclaimed TV show might be the next on the list of the adventure game studio’s prominent licensed projects

Telltale and Night School Studios tease Mr Robot collaborations

Batman, Minecraft, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and… Mr Robot? If a brief tease from Telltale proves to be correct, a game based on the hacker TV hit is among its upcoming projects.

The studio’s social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook shared an advert for a messaging app made by the show’s fictional E Corp.

The message hints at further details on August 17th, which also happens to lie during Gamescom – possibly adding more credence to suggestions of a game reveal.

Further details remain scarce, but the TV show’s success would certainly put it in line with some of Telltale’s past licences.

Interestingly, the E Corp messaging account also retweeted a post by Oxenfree developer Night School Studio which mimics the file name-like format of Mr Robot’s episode titles, potentially leading towards a multi-pronged move into the world of games by the show.

Until August 17th, however, all we can do is sit tight – and hope.
