Telltale’s Game of Thrones deal is multi-year, multi-title

Telltale’s recently announced Game of Thrones effort has been further revealed as a multi-year partnership with HBO that will span multiple titles.

HBO’s direct involvement indicates that the content will likely revolve around the show based on author George R.R. Martin’s written works—as opposed to the novels themselves.

The initial episodes of what will be the first of Telltale’s GoT projects are due out sometime next year.

The studio is also developing a crossover project with Gearbox entitled Tales of the Borderlands, and will launch The Walking Dead Season Two later this month.
