Twitch bolsters stability in Europe

Broadcasting platform Twitch has announced its new infrastructure addition in Paris, France – a move that will bolster the service’s stability across Europe.

We’ve been hard at work delivering on a promise to bring more capacity to Europe,” customer experience director Jason Maestas wrote on Twitch’s official blog.

More capacity means more Twitch, and we want you to Twitch all day and night. In a good way of course.”

The addition is one of several upgrades Twitch has made in the past few months. Earlier this month, the company upgraded infrastructure in Dallas and London. It also upgraded infrastructure in Los Angeles in January, Amsterdam in December, and added a new ‘point-of-presence’ in Prague late last year as well.

Twitch also recently launched its Xbox One app, as well as iOS and Android support.
