UKIE targets London-based digital agencies

Trade body UKIE hopes to attract digital creative firms by backing this year’s Digital Shoreditch Festival.

The inaugural event takes place between Tuesday, May 3rd to Friday May 6th in the Shoreditch area, and will feature workshops, parties, projections and augmented reality games.

UKIE is very happy to demonstrate its support for the UK’s wider interactive entertainment industry by being an official partner of this year’s Digital Shoreditch festival,” said director general Michael Rawlinson.

Many of the companies concentrated around Shoreditch’s ‘Silicon Roundabout’ are involved in producing interactive entertainment: either by using games’ technologies to engage with new audiences, or by producing cutting edge products in their own right.

UKIE will be promoting the Digital Shoreditch festival to the industry and looks forward to helping to establish beneficial links between our existing members and the creative digital companies in and around Shoreditch.”
