Angry Birds sells 6.5m

Hit iPhone game Angry Birds has now sold more than 6.5m downloads on the App Store, according to developer Rovio.

The game, which was published by Chillingo, has only been available since December 2009.

What’s more, the more expensive iPad version of the game, which sells for $4.99, has been bought more than 200,000 times.
