EA: The Old Republic free-to-play level 15 cap on the way

Star Wars: The Old Republic will be a bit more free-to-play coming next month, BioWare announced during EA’s E3 press briefing earlier today.

The MMO will receive a July update that will make it free-to-play up through level 15.

The update also will introduce the new world of Makeb, as well as other new content.

The new features appear to be EA and BioWare’s next attempt to get things back on track after a reduction in the game’s development team occurred late last month, following a dramatic drop in the title’s subscriber base.
