iPad joystick revealed

Gamers who find themselves frustrated by the lack of tactile feedback on the iPad may be interested in a new accessory coming from American peripherals specialist Ten One.

Called the Fling, the device uses two suction caps to attach itself to the corner of the iPad. Housed in the accessory is an analogue joystick that transfers a user’s movement to the screen, while at the same time providing that much needed tactile feedback missing from on-screen virtual controls.

Fling is built using see-through plastic, so once an iPad is lit up it – in theory – becomes ‘invisible’. Or at least less intrusive to the eye.

There’s no launch date for Fling as of yet, though it can be pre-ordered from January 6th for $24.95. There’s a video of it in action below:
