ModNation Racers gets casual update

Sony’s ModNation Racers will receive a downloadable update that makes the game more accessible to casual gamers.

A forthcoming patch for the game will introduce a casual career mode that pits players against less aggressive computer-controlled opponents.

The new mode was announaced as part of the regular ModNation Monday post on Sony’s US PlayStation blog.

There’s been a lot of community feedback and I think United Front Games has done a good job trying to include a lot of the improvements you’ve asked for,” said SCEA San Diego Studios’ community manager Ramone Russell.

I was able to spend some time last week playing the new build. I had a blast playing through the casual career difficulty and I think those that have been asking for this will be very pleased when you can get your hands on it.”
