Namco Bandai reveals new branches in Vancouver, Singapore

Publisher Namco Bandai has announced it will be expanding with two new international offices, set to open in June.

Namco Bandai Studios Vancouver Incorporated will develop online social games, and aims to significantly boost jobs in British Columbia’s technology sector.”

The province provided ‘significant’ assistance to Namco Bandai, with government programs such as the Major Investment Office hosting program playing an ‘instrumental’ role in bringing Namco Bandai to BC, according to the announcement.

The company also announced that a second, currently unnamed, development house will open in Singapore during the same month; however, It wasn’t mentioned what the studio will be specifically working on.

The Japan-based publisher was formed in 2006 after the two titular establishments merged.
