New How to Train Your Dragon iOS game features £69.99 IAP

With a second movie on the way later this year, How To Train Your Dragon is the star of a new iOS and Facebook game.

Be warned, however – this kids game is just the latest in a long line to feature some eye-watering prices for its in-app-purchases.

Apps Playground reports that Gem packs – the game’s currency – vary in price from 2.99 (for 525) all the way up to 69.99 (for 11,500).

There’s also the chance to sign up for membership to the School of Dragons for 6.99 for one month or 57.99 for the year.

The game itself is an MMO of sorts that focuses on actual science learning and also allows players to supplement their PC experience by managing their activities with the associated iOS app.
