Next-gen Adventure Time game on the way from Little Orbit

Finn and Jake are familiar faces on smartphones, but now the pair are preparing to make their bow on next-gen consoles.

Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is in development at Vicious Cycle for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, 3DS and PC. Bandai Namco will distribute with Little Orbit publishing.

The game is a fully-3D affair described as a classic story-driven graphic adventure game” that sees our heroic due assume the role of private investigators.

We received a lot of fan feedback asking us to bring our next Adventure Time game to next generation consoles in 3D, and we’re thrilled to be delivering that and a lot more,” CEO of publisher Little Orbit Matt Scott said. This new game is a complete departure from previous Adventure Time games.

We have created an intriguing classic adventure game set in a richly-detailed 3D Land of Ooo where players can check out Land of Ooo locales, talk to characters, sharpen their creative puzzle-solving skills, defeat bad guys and just have fun.”
