Nintendo reveals plans for press event on E3 show floor

Nintendo has revealed it will be holding a special event for press at its booth on the E3 exhibition floor.

The company has sent out invites for its ‘Come Play With Us @ The Wii U Software Showcase.’ The event kicks off at 10:30 am Pacific on June 11th, and will include presentations from Nintendo brass Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime as well as a unique hands-on time experience” with Wii U’s upcoming offerings.

While the 11th is the first day of E3, the start time for Nintendo’s showcase is still 90 minutes prior to when the show floor officially opens to attendees at Noon.

The firm announced last month that, unlike its console counterparts, it had chosen to abstain from its typical press conference immediately preceding the start of the annual Los Angeles expo.

MicrosoftandSonyhave already announced they will hold their standard press events prior to the event on June 10th.
