GAME selling Portal 2 today

UK retailer GAME has put the PC version of EA-published Valve title Portal 2 on sale today, a day ahead of its official release.

The game was released digitally via Steam yesterday, though the official release date for the boxed versions is tomorrow.

"We had a conversation with EA yesterday and it was agreed that we could sell our existing PC stock today," a spokesperson told MCV.

Though there has not been confirmation as of yet, it’s likely that other retailers will now follow suit.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will go on sale tomorrow as planned.
