UPDATE: Watch Dogs PC requirements revealed; time to upgrade?

Update: Watch Dogsgraphics technical director Sebastien Viard has said that the PC specs listed on Uplay aren’t accurate, and that the actual requirements, which will be revealed soon, are lower.

Our sister site MCV UK has more details.

Original story: The Uplay page for Watch Dogs has been updated with the game’s minimum, recommended and ultra PC specifications, and the requirements are far more demanding than expected, even more so than Battlefield 4.

A DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB memory is a minimum requirement. Ubisoft cites the Nvidia GTX 460 and AMD Radeon HD 5770 as examples.

The recommended GPU for Watch Dogs, however, is nothing less than an Nvidia GTX 560 ti or an AMD Radeon HD 7850.

Also, Watch Dogs will only support 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
