PlayStation iPhone app arrives

Sony’s Official PlayStation App for Apple’s iOS devices is now live and ready to download on Apple’s App Store.

The free app, which is also heading to Google Android devices, was first announced last month.

It allows for users to keep up to date with the latest Sony news as well as easily view content from the Sony Europe blog. User’s are also able to sign in and check out the activity of PSN Friends and view Trophy information.

It’s initially due for rollout in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands with other regional support planned for the future.

It’s only compatible with iOS4 and above.
